Sandy L. Boost, SPHR, CAE

Sandy joined the Member/Chapter Relations Team at SHRM in April, 1995 after more than 15 years as an human resource practitioner.  Her most recent position was as Director of Compensation and Benefits for St. Joseph Hospital & Health Center in Lorain, OH.

As an Area Manager, Sandy works with the 137 chapters in the ten-state region.  She works with the ten State Councils and Area Board as both an advisor and a colleague.  She is field based and works from her home office in Waterville, Ohio. 

She has years of experience as a volunteer leader.  Among those, Sandy served as vice president, president, and past president of the Greater Lorain County Chapter -- the SHRM affiliated chapter in Lorain/Elyria, OH.  She served as the national Director of Public Relations for the former International Association of Personnel Women (IAPW) and held local, regional, and national leadership roles for Kappa Delta Sorority.

 Sandy is a graduate of the University of Toledo in Toledo, OH, holding both BBA and MBA degrees.  She has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) since 1992 and attained her certification as an association executive (CAE) in June, 2001.


Kevin D. Dalton, SPHR
Kevin Dalton is the Senior Compensation Specialist for The Iams Company, a division of Procter and Gamble. Kevin has worked in various HR capacities including employee relations, employment, organizational design, and compensation. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Business with an HR Concentration from Wright State University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Kevin has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 1998, and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1996. Kevin is on the Ohio State SHRM Council as the Governmental Affairs Director. Prior to this role, Kevin was the Legislative Director for the Miami Valley Human Resource Association (2001/2002). Kevin is a founding member of the Governmental Affairs Strategy Board, which is part of the Ohio State SHRM Council. He continues to lobby at both the state and federal level on pro-business, pro-HR issues. Kevin also speaks throughout Ohio on legislative issues and teaches the SHRM Learning System PHR/SPHR workshop at Wright State University.
 


State Director  -  Fred Eck, SPHR

Over 25 years experience in Human Resource Management, I am presently with Arkay Industries (1999 to Present) as Corporate Director Human Resources.

SHRM Leadership Experiences: SPHR certification - June 1995. Butler County SHRM 1990 - Present.

Board Member (1991-92), Treasurer (1992 -94), President (1995), District Director  (1996-97), Treasurer State Council  (1998 - 2001) and State Director- Ohio State Council 2002 -2004

As a member of the state council the past 7 years, I have gained a significant amount of experience on the leadership team, while contributing to the growth and strength of the organization.


WAHRA / President-elect – Ross Lilley, SPHR

Ross has worked in the HR field for 10 years and is the HR, Safety & Environmental Director for RBB Systems, Inc., previous to that he worked as an engineer for RBB for 20 years. As well as the WAHRA Ross is involved in the community serving as: Chairman of Goodwill’s Business Advisory Committee 5 years, Board of directors Wooster Area Safety Council-10 years, class advisor Wayne County Schools Career Center – 9 years, Holmes County HR Committee Board – 4 years. Ross has been a member of the WAHRA for 9 years & is serving his fourth year on the Board.
